Choose meaningful comparisons
Compare counts, classification or queue estimates with an appropriate reference. State the sampling period and the conditions represented in the test.
Keep errors visible
Report false detections, missed events and missing observations separately. Look for persistent differences across locations or road-user categories.
Review changes over time
Camera movement, construction and seasonal conditions can change input data. Re-evaluate after material changes and record the version used for each report.
